The American Association for Geodetic Surveying (AAGS) works closely with the other member organizations within ACSM, the Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS), the Geographic and Land Information Society (GLIS), and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS)
AAGS participates actively in the FIG [International Federation for Surveyors] and other fora concerned with the advancement of the geospatial science and practice, including GITA, URISA, the Stakeholders Meeting, and the GeoForum.
